Chocolate-Coco-Almond Bites
These simply delicious crackers get their inspiration from the Almond Joy combination of chocolate, almond, and coconut. They make a great afterschool snack and a nutritious breakfast on-the-go. Try using a toasted English muffin or even graham crackers as a base.
Chocolate-Coco-Almond Bites
Yield: 1 serving
Cook Time: 5 minutes
Ingredients:
- 6 crackers of choice
- 2 tablespoons almond butter
- 1 tablespoon chocolate hazelnut spread (like Nutella)
- 1 tablespoon shredded coconut (unsweetened is best)
Directions:
- Spread crackers liberally with almond butter.
- Carefully spread chocolate over top, taking care not to pull away almond butter as you do.
- Sprinkle with shredded coconut, and serve.
