Summer-Long Film Series: Street Food Cinema
If you can’t get your fill of outdoor movies this summer, add this one to your roster: Street Food Cinema. It’s film, it’s food, and it’s happening every Saturday evening through Labor Day.
Held at Exposition Park near USC, Street Food Cinema is an outdoor movie fest bringing in local musicians and food trucks, featuring a different film every week. Notables from this summer’s lineup include 40-Year Old Virgin, Twilight, American Pie, Bridesmaids, and Alice in Wonderland. View the full film schedule here.
Doors open at 5:30 p.m., and you’ll want to arrive early, as it’s first-come first-served for entrance and seating. Movies don’t start until 8:30 p.m., but local bands start up at 6:30 p.m. and food trucks will be on site to keep you well-fed for the evening.
The fee per person is $10, which goes towards park entrance and access to the music and food trucks. An extra 5 bucks will buy you a reserved ticket, which gets you premium seating and a shorter entrance line. Parking is available in a lot next to the park.
Street Food Cinema runs weekly each Saturday until September 1. Learn more about the movie festival, including artist lineup, film schedule, and directions right here.
