Katie wrote her debut published piece, a children’s cookbook review, at age eleven. Since then, she’s soaked up a world of cuisine and food culture wisdom via her father, Robb Walsh, and has written food/food policy pieces for The Austin Chronicle, Serious Eats, Houston Press Eating Our Words, and TODO Austin, for which she is both a columnist and senior editor.
Katie holds a degree in sociology and Spanish from UT Austin.
Sarah SpigelmanSarah Spigelman is a New York City based writer, editor, and lover of all things gustatory. Her favorite foods are kimchi, Chili Cheese Fritos, and foie gras. She loves musical theatre, reruns of “Arrested Development,” and $5 blackjack. Whenever she isn’t eating or cooking, she can be seen performing improvisational comedy with the National Comedy Theatre. Her writing can be found on Bites.Today.Com, The Daily Meal, and in the magazine Northeast Flavors. Becky ReamsOne part photographer. One part cook. One part thrill-seeker. All three tied up with an undeniable passion for life’s many gifts. Becky Reams is originally a food photographer with work appearing in GQ, Cooking Light, Edible Westside, and Westlake Magazine. Currently competing on Fox Television's MasterChef, she is a self-taught chef, focusing on new American cuisine with strong Korean influences. A private chef, a food writer, a TV personality and all around food fanatic, Becky drinks good whiskey, eats great food, and loves amazing people. An insatiable appetite for more has propelled her into experiences that only her wildest dreams could have predicted. She lives by the mantra: beauty lies in simplicity, and the magic is in the details.

Phil ManningPhil Manning is a wine, spirits, and cocktails expert and former professional bartender with over 10 years experience. Phil has appeared as a guest speaker at a number of culinary festivals and trade shows, bringing his knowledge and insight of the world of wine and spirits people around the country. His original cocktails have been featured in national and international publications. Phil frequently conducts wine and spirits dinners for the local community and in his free time, Phil is a devoted fan of the Los Angeles Dodgers and enjoys hiking with his dog Rumples.
